Running Board Truss Rods for a 12

Trying to order some running board truss rods for my 12. It seems that the vendors are out of stock. Does anyone know of who makes them and when they might be back in stock?

Make them. I did for my ‘’14. Aren’t they just cold rolled 3/8” steel ? The front is straight and threaded at both ends. The rear has two bends for to clear the truss rods and also threaded both ends,

Have you checked with “FunProjects”? They make them and are showing them in stock on their webpage at:

They also have some excellent background information on the rods with a description of their product and how it was made to the original specifications see:
http://www.funprojects.com/pdf/CA4816.PDF You will note that the originals running board truss rods were made from 7/16” rod.

They are heavier than 3/8" bar, 7/16"or perhaps 1/2". I cut a longer thread on one end to make them easier to fit. A nut is run up to the end of the long thread and that end is inserted into the bracket. The other end is then much closer to fitting, with just a little wriggling/jacking to get it in. Then the nuts can be adjusted to bring it back to being central.

Hap,
I did check with Fun Projects and ordered a set back in January and they didn't have any then. I kept them on the order and checked with them today and still they did not have any. I checked other suppliers hoping there might have been a set sitting on their shelves but to no avail.
