Where is your T?
I just revisited the gallery and was both impressed by the good pictures and disappointed that there are so few of them. For some years there are only three or four pictures. I know there are a lot more than three 1917 Fords in this club, a lot more than four 1920, etc. Probably even more than ten 1915. Why not get the old flivver out in the daylight, shoot a nice photo of it, and add it to the gallery for everybody to enjoy?

Re: Where is your T?
I remember when Jeff was putting the Gallery together. He helped me get some paintings and illustrations on it. We were pretty excited about it's possibilities and future. I'm not sure why it isn't better utilized but I know folks who visit it often and really enjoy it.
Thanks for bringing this up Steve.

Re: Where is your T?
Hi Steve, good question!
Perhaps the gallery is not as obvious to find, but not hard if you look either. It is accessible from the "Board Index" and the little icon that pops up on the 'ribbon' right next to your name (near the top of the pages).
The gallery link icon only appears when you are logged on.
There is a lot of interesting stuff in the gallery, pictures, historical photos, paintings, technical diagrams, adverts ... all sorts.
It is much quicker to find things there than trawling postings too.
cheers
Adrian

I guess I wasn't paying attention. I thought the photos from the old forum would be transferred to the new one. I will hunt up a photo to post.

A nice thing about the new gallery is that you don't have to shrink your photo. You can post it big enough to fill the screen.

Re: Where is your T?
Some of us are just not able to post a picture in gallery. I just tried several times and can not do it. That might be why I don't have mine there but its been a long time since I tried till tonight and still can't make it work. No problem posting it here though.

Re: Where is your T?
Hi Bob, you should see this button in the gallery, just click and go. If you don't see it (you have to be logged in) then message Jeff, there have been glitches where permissions were not correctly set.
Cheers

Re: Where is your T?
I tried to upload images today and get the following error.
While uploading “1912 Torpedo.jpeg“ the following error occurred:
» PHP_SIZE_OVERRUN
You must enter your path and filename
File size is 4.5 Mb. I'm using a MacBook Pro. Any suggestions on how to correct this and add to the gallery?
Thanks, John

Re: Where is your T?
Try this, John. Make a copy of your picture file. Open the copy. Click on Tools at the top of your screen. Click on Adjust size. Adjust the height to 1000 pixels and save. That will give you a file reduced in size but big enough to fill the screen top to bottom

Re: Where is your T?
I do have the upload button and get the same error message as John posted but just posted the very picture i wanted to upload here with no problem. I have even uploaded a picture in the past in Gallery but now it just doesn't like me. I will try the resize thing but this one is the same size as all the others I post.

Re: Where is your T?
Steve, that worked. I added as 1280 x 1280 and they uploaded fine. Thanks for the help. Added a 1913 Touring and 1912 Torpedo.

I have a 1925 TT I got in 1980, just the chassis and finished restoration in 1986.

I would like to add a video and some "detail" area shots like the interior or engine compartment.

Re: Where is your T?
Well, that's a first. Sometimes a thumbnail shows up sideways but the big picture is straight. Eric's thumbnail is straight, but the big picture showed up sideways for me. Here it is rotated.
By the way, great work on the TT.

Re: Where is your T?
Actually, I can often have issues with 'jpeg' files not being recognised. It has something to do with the program that saved them. Admnin Jeff also could not figure out what the issue is/was, but with some fiddling and converting they do work.

Re: Where is your T?
HI Steve, I have noticed sometimes a picture in a forum post is sideways and in the same post the others are fine. On my post as I view the photos they are showing the correct orientation. I am just happy if the photo is half decent and the file gets attached. I also added my 1925 roadster to the photos.

Done!
app.php/gallery/image/1646
Not the best picture I'll admit, I took it right after I first got her while she was parked at work, doing this made me realize how few pictures I actually have of Lizzie, so I'll have to take her for a spin around the Big Apple for a photo shoot! Any excuse to take her for a spin is an excuse enough!
