HELP! MY FIRST SWAP MEET!!!
I am going to the Luray swap meet and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Also, do you know if there are any places at the Luray meet that I could set up three hammocks the night before?

Jonah,
I’m going to be going, also. I asked a similar question a little while ago. Read this thread... some good tips were shared.

You could do like the old man and take a foam mat and a sleeping bag and use the ground. I've been camping for 74 years that I can remember, so I'm used to it.

Check out the Hillside Motel in Luray. Best in town for the money. I stayed there at the first Luray and was shocked at how nice it was. Only place I will stay if I ever get to go back. Dan

Re: HELP! MY FIRST SWAP MEET!!!
Back when Pate was out in the country, I'd sleep in my Toyota pickup bed in the big field parking lot across the highway. There were other people in proper campers and I'd find a place to put my Toyota in amongst them...and let them know I was there.
Foam mat like Steve and a blanket/pillow and I was all set.
I got rained on one year (not fun). After that I had a little PVC pipe/tarp/tent contraption that I could set up in the truck bed real quick if I needed it.

The responses so far deal with sleeping. If this is your first antique car flea market, a lesson quickly learned is: if you find something you need or want, buy it because it won't be there next time you look!!! Dick C.
