In the second picture-upside down in the ditch- the front radius rod cap at the crankcase is missing. Could this have been a contributing factor in the wreck????

What's kind of amazing (to me, anyway) is the centerdoor that's on it's roof has all it's glass except one of the windshield panels (which you can see under the cowl), either that glass was a lot tougher than I've been led to believe, or the car was flexible enough to not bind and break the glass (as happens in most modern cars)... At least the door is open, meaning hopefully that's how they made their exit, and not through the new front "escape hatch"...
