Did Some T's have rough cut spring leaves?

Looking at my Canadian '21 T (unsure of part originality but looks right), I notice that some of the spring leaves on the front and rear spring look pretty roughly cut. They all look original as wear and corrosion is pretty much the same. Just wondering if others have noticed this on theirs?

The squared off ends of later springs appear to be cut by shearing them. This leads to the dumping of material on the back end of the cut, the dumping being dependent on how sharp the cutting blade was. Shortly before any blade was removed/sharpened the dumping would likely be somewhat more pronounced. This becomes more evident on the clipped corners.
I could be wrong.

I’ll take some pics and post.
The corners of the leaves in question are not clipped. The leaf is just cut straight across

If the end of the spring is cut straight all the way across the end of the leaf? I can't say with any certainty about Canadian built model Ts, however, for USA built Ts I have never seen or heard of Ford factory springs being like that. Very few cars back then of any make ever did that. However, some after-market replacement springs were cut that way. And I have seen (many years ago) a couple of those. Also remember, that fifty to ninety years ago, most major city or town areas had a blacksmith or spring shop that would make replacement or custom load springs for almost any vehicle. After three quarters of a century, it can be tough to tell the difference in age of a replacement spring maybe ten years after the car was originally built.
And who knows? Maybe Canadian Ts did outsource some springs cut that way?

Our cars are Canadian sourced, and I have never seen spring leaves cut square across without having the corners clipped off. I can't recall any make having square ended springs. Many trailer springs are square cut though, and these could easily be substituted into a T assembly
