Digitizing Wood Plans

Hi everyone.
Im fairly new to model ts but I've always been a huge fan of old cars, I want to see as many of them, model ts included of course, on the road as possible.
I read on here about Leon Parker and how he made many wood plans for those who needed them. Unfortunately he has passed away, RIP. And the wood plans are very hard to find.
I am a mechanical designer and I would be able to digitize the plans if I got them. I don't want any money, like I said I want to see as many model ts on the road as possible, so if I was able to do this I would want to post them for free to those who needed them.
Now 2 questions:
1. Would this be legal or does someone own a copyright on them?
2. If it is legal would people be willing to help me by sending me plans or even partial plans for me to digitize.

Contact his widow, last I heard she was planning on continuing to offer the plans.

The plans have been sold. Her last post, she did not nor would she say who bought them. So at this point the plans are in the wind. Hope at some point, it has been a while, that the buyer will step up and let us know when and if they will be back on the market.
RE the legal part; between the two parties that drew plans, the surviving family member(s) of the one set (Mel Miller) and person that now owns Leon's plans, unless someone here is a Copywrite attorney, I don't really think we can make a call on that. You would need to contact someone that does Copywrite laws cases.

These have been on this site for all to see many years. The 15-20 Touring -partial Roadster plans are Mel Miller’s. The Canadian plans aren’t.
If your building a 15-20 Touring these will help.
