1924 Tudor Photos Needed

I am currently trying to fix up a 24 Tudor that needs everything pertaining to windows, both in the door and in the rear. It needs felts, bottom channels, rubber window seals, etc. There is a 1/2" gap just above the doors between the top of the door and the bottom of the roof wood that should not be there. Tomorrow I'll get a photo and upload it. Is there a rain gutter there? Anyone got a detailed photo they can share?

Here's mine. It looks like I've got the gap.
Sorry I don't have a detail shot handy.

John, thanks for the photo. So, do you have a rain gutter above the door? Does the hidem go right to the bottom of the wood that forms the top? A photo of the area just above the door would really help. Thanks.

I don't know if I would call it a gap. There is sufficient clearance so the door doesn't bind there. Any more will let the wind whistle through. If it is more at the rear than the front the door is sagging. With age the wood can shrink and gaps become wider. How much clearance is there?
There is a rain gutter that should be pretty much level with the door jam.

Rich, thanks, that is what I needed. What is the source of the photos with the arrows? Do they point to item descriptions?
Your doors have what I would call a minimum necessary gap. Mine has over 1/2" of space. Would the 26-27 rain gutter work for that space? It's the only one I see available in Lang's book.

Frank, rain gutter does not close the gap, if wooden door, the interior has a flap that hangs down to cover air from coming in, or adjust the door up?

Most vendors sell the Price List of Body Parts. You need the later one that goes to 1927.

This post shows one of the three illustrations for the Tudor.

I believe the 26-27 rain gutters might work. They appear to be aluminum and not steel. I haven't tried them. I made my own gutters using and original for a pattern. These are ones for my Coupe:

Thanks for the info, so far. As far as the cork screw window regulators, I may have to use the later style, since the ones I need are made of unobtanium...

Good News! I just spoke with Steve at Lang's. They have 4 used corkscrew style regulators for me... Of course, the gear boxes are worthless, since they are pot metal. However, I got the last 4 repro gear boxes in existence. The gods have smiled on me today...
