Just brought this Touring home. Awakened this devil after a twenty year nap. Has cast pistons, original interior, 15 hood. Had to drill drain holes in valve galleys, about a quart of oil was trapped in them. Fan belt was like a potato chip. Would Brassworks rebuild the radiator?

Saw that car on Minneapolis Craigslist.

Unrestored and a great candidate for cleaning and detailing.

The price listed in the ad was very reasonable so you got a heck of a deal, especially if you paid less what he was originally asking.

Others may chime in, but I don't think Brassworks do restoration work. You most likely need an old time radiator shop where they understand how things were done. Anyone who offers a re-coring service should be able to do the job. With such a nice old original car, it is most suited to a rebuild rather than a replacement.

Hope this helps, Allan from down under.

Allan you're right, a shiny new radiator would stick out like a sore thumb. Bad enough a new top is needed to be usable. A friend suggested getting it dirty on a dusty road. Here's a picture of the engine after some check out

Brassworks used to do resto work, but I don't know either anymore. Call em!
