looks like one of the exhaust port bolt holes has JB weld.

With all that meat under the spark plugs, and a fairly shallow combustion chamber... could be a “S” model!👍

Darn... someone just got the ultimate go-fast goodie for their car for a lick and a polish... I have a bare bones SR head, no valves, no top end (I need to figure out vaves and rockers for it) but looking at the intake and exhaust ports, Art Chevrolet knew what the heck he was doing to squeeze ponies out of Henry's ever-faithful mule... I haven't seen anything that well designed on anything modern I've messed with.

Congrats to the new owner of instant horsepower, hope they put it in a capable block and go out and play with it!!!!!
