2 faced Amp

Post by Rich Eagle » Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:07 pm

This ammeter face amused me. The back side had miss-registered paint. There must have been daily glitches at the plant. I can only guess what caused this.

The +'s in the circles were drill locations not polarity.
When did I do that?

Must have printed the face upside down or drilled the hole in the opposite side. It's surprising that they would save the piece and re print it.

WOW! Steve , I can't believe that you would ask if Rich needs a new face knowing that I'm around! He could use a new face and I'm guessing his meter needs one too!

Leave it to Perry!
Fortunately I have several bad ammeters with good faces.
Thanks
Rich

Interesting piece. Gets one to thinking how these were made.
Silkscreen printing process?

It would look kind of neat to install this back into a gauge with the wacky side out.:)
