Hi,

I'm considering to 3D print a parabolic mirrors for my newly acuired J&B 66 headlamps, but I could use some dimensions of the original glass mirrors.

Outer diameter
Height of mirror when placed face down on a flat surface.

A picture (or drawing) of how the mirror is mounted in the back of the headlamp would also be of help (Pictures mostly to attract interest )

The diameter of the mirror is 6”. I can’t figure out how to get it out. It’s held in place by a sliding lock ring. When you twist it around it tightens in the mirror then you lock it with the screw. I need a mirror for one myself, here’s a picture of inside of it plus the ring by itself. I’d be happy to measure the mirror but it won’t go past the riveted on mounting brackets. Those pins in the locking ring stick out 1/16, maybe 3/32” but are the same diameter as the screw.

The mirror diameter is 6”. Iit’s held in place by a lock ring. There is a screw that slides in a diagonal slot and 2 pins the same diameter as the screw sticking out 1/16-3/32” engage a slot on the other side. You twist it to lock it. I can’t figure out how you get the mirror out. It’s loose but doesn’t want to go past the riveted on mounting brackets. I need a mirror myself, here are some pictures of the retaining ring set up.
