I seem to have lost or misplaced two of my inner springs for my RAJO head. I have all the outers, VS 698 54-56 Buick, I believe will work, but short 2 on the inners.
Any ideas for the inners, will buy all 8 if needed.
Thanks, Don Vagasky

Re: Valve Springs for BB Head
I just run the single outer springs on my BB, Don - have had her revved up pretty good without any valve float.

HI Don- what is your open spring pressure with and without the inner spring? Many times I find that heads are set up with way more spring pressure than needed for the RPM a T engine will be running at. Report back, but suspect that Steve might be correct. Also, checking with Mark at Chaffins to see what he uses on his heads is a good idea.

Running inner springs is a good way to break the rocker arms. They were only made with one spring and all that is needed.

Re: Valve Springs for BB Head
I pulled the valve cover on my speedster, it has a 30 head, same exact spring, ie wraps, OD and spring dia. No inner spring. Along with all the above inputs,......problem solved.
Now I got to find the push rods.
Thanks all, Don
