Re: Rear Bumper Bracket OL for 26/27 Fordor?
Sorry, you have the coupe/roadster bracket. The sedan/touring bracket is shorter. The dimension shown to the first hole should be 32" for the sedan, 36 3/8" for the coupe. Coupe/roadster is longer to clear the spare tire that is angled in vs. the sedan spare tire that is angled out. Dimensions came from the original Ford drawings factory part number T3134-R at the Benson Ford Research Center.

Thanks, I suspected as much, I can still use the "longer" bracket on the Fordor with out any issues other than the bumper will stick out further. It is my understanding that the new "replacement" brackets are the longer version to be used universally. Of course if someone needs the longer brackets and have the shorter ones instead I'd be interested in a swap.

Those are not Ford issued bumpers. They are some aftermarket brand.

Henryford2 I may have a very nice set from a 27 Touring that I would trade, they are to short for my 27 Roadster.
