Foot Throttle.., Seeing how many would be interested.

Post by Henry K. Lee » Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:35 pm

A lot of interest years back, Seeing about how many may be interested in these as I am showing the young apprentice how to produce an item and test markets. Will have a disc style foot button, with linkage options for stock carburetor to high performance and overheads. These will NOT be used in-conjunction with the hand throttle as some were years back. A must for Speedsters, or anything with an accessory transmission, rear end.

I find that to be very interesting. Simple and functional. I am building a Speedster that needs one. Bob in Texas

Hank, that's a way better design than the abomination that was fitted to my Tudor when it arrived in Australia. What a complicated mess it was. I Presume somewhere in the system there is a return spring to be fitted, seeing the manual feed will not be used.

Looks interesting. In the case of shifting a Ruckstell with a center shifter- I find that it takes 3 hands to shift it right. With your foot throttle it now will only take 2 hands and 1 foot.
