Hi all,
I'm a new T owner and I'm wondering if someone can tell/show me the differences between metal wheel rims I have a 26 and 27 and need spare tires to mount on the rear. What is the difference between 21 inch, 30 inch and 30 1/2 inch; between non-demountable and demountable and clincher rims?
Thanks,
John

Guessing you have wood wheels on the car now? What size tires are on the cars now? While someone could have put 30 X 3-1/2" on, 26/27 would have had ether 21" wood wheels or the wire type. Demountable means the rim comes off the felloe nondemoutable means the rim is permanently attached to the felloe. The felloe is the part of the wheel that rim attaches to ether permanently or with the rim bolts and lugs. Clinchers would be one piece rim with rolled edges. The 21" could had a split across the rim.
