Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
This should be in the general forum, not support section. This is for people having issues like not being able to log on or password issues, not car related questions.
Paul that might be a tall order to fill here in Oregon, finding someone that knows market values on Ford Model T's. You might want to try this; https://www.ebay.com/sch/ebayadvsearch? ... acat=10073
Type the year of your car in the search box (along with Ford Model T is it does not show when you look) then go down and click the sold box and search. Should show what cars are selling for on eBay. Some car value books are base on Big Name auctions other include places like eBay. Also check the cars in the classifieds here and see what cars like yours may have sold for. While you don't want to under value it, going too far the other direction is not good either.

Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
It got moved to General Discussion. I suggested having a wanted section but was told the just having one, gets more views on everything. The General Forum would still be the place to ask for help, you are going to get more eyes on the question. I am guess you are asking about a 1913? Most people here that could help with a value are going to need information and photos. I just ran a check on 1913 on eBay, none were found, so guess that is out. I saw your ad on the HCCA site. Hope it works out.

Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
You can get some idea from the average auction and sales data from this site. Search Model T year for sale and conceptcarz should show up. The data certainly fluctuates depending in the cars and conditions of the cars.

Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
Keith Townsend in Gresham would be a great place to start. He knows the area and the market, has been a T guy for about 200 years, I think.

Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
I think you need a new insurance company, American Collectors
Insurance and Hagerty are two that use agreed value no appraisal required.

Re: ANTIQUE CAR APPRAISER
What insurance company are you using? Not all of the specialty antique car companies will require an appraisal unless you are valuing it above what they usually see for similar vehicles. Post your question also on the AACA discussion forum as that will give you some exposure beyond just the Model T community.
