Information on spindle arm

I just found this N.O.S. Early type spindle arm
has SF CO Embossed on it
anyone know if this was San Francisco or another plant? Bob

That’s an approved forging parts company that also supplied connecting rods to Ford. Listing from 1920 Service Bulletin. Think this logo stands for Standard Forging Co.

You can see the S.F.Co supplier trademark at the bottom of the middle column and The Dodge Brothers mark 2 above that one. I can't remember the name for the CH logo but they did a lot of forgings for the early-28 Model A Brake system and I.D.F. made the early Pistol Grip Brake Handles for the Model A. I can't find my 1928 S.A.E. Handbook right now, but that has a suppliers section in the back that list 90 percent of these suppliers.
