Re: Back in time.
I wonder on the speedster if that little radiator in front is an oil cooler?

Re: Back in time.
Who says that you can't tow a Model T ? Just tow new Model T with a new Model TT chassis. It only takes one driver to deliver the two vehicles.
Having worked for the AT&SF RR at one time I really like the Model T touring rail car. No need for special rail wheels in front, just modify stock wheels, no on rail steering allowed. Those front wheels may be Atlis steel spokes or the like. They are different thain stock at the fellow

Re: Back in time.
Front and rears are the same. Atlas and other replacement did not have a web coming off the spoke so looks to be cast and machined. Did not even notice it was a rail inspection car. Cool!

Re: Back in time.
I believe this series of pics has more open cars with the tops up than any pics I have seen.

Re: Back in time.
Looks like the damages in #8 come out to at LEAST $4.00. Maybe even $4.30, if you replace the hubcaps with new.

Re: Back in time.
Look at #3 (rescuing people in a flood), then think of where the carb is sitting on that car... Talk about "rolling the dice and taking a chance"?
Everyone hanging on that car looks thoroughly soaked and has the post-disaster "100 mile stare" on their faces... bet they remembered this the rest of their lives.

Re: Back in time.
Interesting seeing the green shaded headlight lenses in a period photo. Those were used for a few months before the H lenses came out. First time I have noticed them in a period photo. Thanks for the post. Dan

Re: Back in time.
Interesting, that chopped up T in the second to last picture is a Australian standard utility T from WW1, the body is quite distinctive, but it appears a LHD ? wonder where and when it was taken..
Here's a period picture of one with the top ;
