It might fit a Model T headlamp bucket but I wouldn’t pay a nickel over $765 for it 😜😜
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people.

LOL isn't always literally true, but this one did it for me. Is he a fool, or just hoping somebody else is? :D

Do they guarantee with their shipping a complete refund if it gets broken in shipment?
An original lens is usually purple in color from sun acting on the lens.

I am sure a decimal point is missing , like $8 is enough.

Doesn't matter to me if its $8, $80 or $800 Local pick-up only Item location: Winona, Minnesota 225 miles away from me :D

From a previous Forum discussion - https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php? ... se#p119974
[The "H" lens became the standard around 1920 (?) and was used through the end in 1927. The ones that will turn amethyst seem to show up on the 26-27 vehicles most often. Not sure if that is an accurate suggestion that a late production run of lenses had manganese in the glass batch, or if it was simply an intermittent thing. Most "H" lenses are dead clear. Some have enough manganese in the glass to just turn a pink. Others can get quite dark purple.]

Good BAUCH & LOMB lens are not even going for that much! Ford 1928 Ford Model A. Nice but not rare. Not just decimal point being in the wrong spot, numbers are wrong too.

I offered $8 then retracted the offer - reason i gave is that he listing was changed. Says Local Pickup Only but down below it says "Unique Parts Find! Antique Ford Model T Front Headlight Glass Lens. Condition is New old stock. Shipping via USPS Priority mail. Thanks for taking a look and Namaste!" It doesn't appear to be Model T - tabs are in a Y pattern not H and there is a notch in the edge as well. Someone can ask what size - give the seller hope

 no sooner did I check the listing than I got an email.offering a $300 discount! I see from his feedback he is either a previous quitter or a dumb newbie. There are plenty of equally stupid listings on evilbay too, if someone wants to post a few others well all get some holiday jollies.

The seller has a feed back score of 12, didn't look how long they have been on eBay. There are a lot of people out there right now really hurting for money. Be happy if you are still working with a good income or have a nice retirement coming in. Still the price is way off base.

That listing for "Rare Model T lens" is wrong. That lens is the early Model A fluted version, lots around, this listing is on eBay now with a price that is more in line with the part. The seller is just looking for that casual sucker to come along, trolling for a quick bite on someone's wallet!

He also has a pair of "one of a kind" Chinese Foo Dog bookends for $500--"antique" he says, but they look exactly like the ones we sell at the Chinese Temple gift shop that I think wholesale at around $4 a pair. Of course I could be wrong, and they could be the "real thang" but I doubt it!
