I saw the $400 also. Guess if they wanted more there would have been a reserve on the listing. I looked at it before it was sold, did not take note of the buy it now price. Someone got a smoking good deal.

I'm still kicking myself over a recent auction where TWO weaver jacks sold for $20. I forgot about the deadline until it was too late to bid.

Don't kick yourself too hard... I'm sure they found a good home.

Sometimes great deals can be had on EBay. But you have to look and be there at the right time. I call it luck.
I bought a rusted up tight window riser for my 24 T Coupe. I saw it and bid $1.75. The guy wanted 25 dollars. Nobody bid but me. The add stated it may not be repaired and maybe parts only.
I got it for the $1.75.
I restored it and it works great. Been to a lot of meets and never saw one or one for sale except the so called junk one I bought on EBay.

A couple months ago I bought a full set of Model T Keystone reamers in its wood case. It was the big 21 reamer set. They are like new. I got it for the 39.00 start price and free shipping. I was the only bidder. There are good deals out there

For over a week there has been an NOS Edison 14 spark plug on eBay with one bid of $19.95 with shipping of $4.95. Tonight I tuned in a minute and a half before the end of the auction and it was at $22.95. I entered my bid of $23.45 and hit the button, but I was spitting in the ocean. I don't know how many bids were submitted in those last few seconds, but it ended up like this.

I'm not a serious plug collector. I just wanted one more to make up a set to use for the coolness factor. No way am I going to spend that kind of dough for a single plug.
