Thanks Mark, the second link does show a drawing of a 1912 firewall but I'm unable to make out the dimensions.
It was probably a John Regan drawing. Am I to believe the side light brackets are located at the same height on
12,13 and 14 Model T's even though the 12 is 1 1/2" higher than 13 and 14's?
Help me out here John.

Hello Dale:
I have to question whether all 1912 dash boards were identical. 1912 Touring bodies came from at least 5 different suppliers, with other body styles from still others. Did these bodies arrive at assembly with the dash boards already in place? As far as I can tell, there was one mid to late 12 dash basic shape and one side lamp bracket design. I doubt that any I researched were original, because the dash wood on them was too pristine, All placed the tops of the side lamp chimneys approximately one inch higher that than the dash brass trim, however, the bracket positions relative to the dash outer vertical edges varied. Some resulted in the lamp bracket mounting hardware as seen from the interior side being full concealed by the fore doors, while on others this hardware is exposed. Please share photos of whatever you decide on.
Regards,
Scott

Thanks Scott. Looking at pictures of 1912's it does look like top of sidelight is about 1" above brass trim. Will do thanks Dale

Dale, the one on my 1912 is a direct copy that I made from a known original that was replaced some time in the 1950's. Somene had he foresight to retain the original. i even copied the not too even spacing for the screws that hold the brass trim around the edges. If you like, I san measure it up for you.

Thanks Allan for your measurement. Allan's measurements "To the center of the top hole in the bracket it is 7 1/16" down from top
and 1 3/4" from the side". Thank you very much Allan.
