Challenges gettingnew tanks is real. Hopefullysomeone will take the reins and starte making new ones again. Danny Lorenzi was one recently in need of a new tank. One of our clubmembers, David Cuddy, had a 26,27 tank that he installed in Danny's truck. He then was able to repair Danny's tank and did get it re-installed. Danny likes the installed 26-27 tank so much that he wants to keep it and now will have extra fuel on long tours. It turned out prettygood. Just sharing. [/size]

In his case, since the installation isn't standard, he could use any tank. He probably could find a new modern tank that holds 20+ gallons and sell the T tank to a member who really needs it.

That's a good idea, however, I am sad that it is a 26-27 tank, because they haven't been making them new and a good one is hard to find. I would rather see that tank installed in a 26-27.
