Was planning to replace the axles in the Ruckstel due to bad threads. On tear down found one frozen and broken differential pin and wrecked inner differential body and plate. Damage rang up at $403 from Chaffin's but held up by holiday delay in parts machining.
Also planned a freshen up of the engine but looks like more serious rebuild due to cracked exhaust port and scored cylinder from seized piston 30,000 miles back.
This early 1916 is still my favorite of the 5 in the stable, so worth the time and expense.

I plan on replacing the wood in Barney's body. That's the big major project. Of course, while the body is off the frame, I will likely go through the mechanicals too, but the big push is to do the body wood. Since it's a '25 there is a bit less wood to do than the earlier models!

Switch the vaporizer to a NOS Cyclone carb, install the heater, Ruckstell and sure stop brakes, remove the panel below the trunk lid and build a wooden pickup box to fit in there, redo all the wiring, put a top on and go drive it.

Same list as last year - never had it started this past year, never put a wrench on it.

In May (hopefully) when I get the engine back after total rebuild, I plan to install it in my '23 Touring. Before then I will mount the 4 new tires I received 3 weeks ago.

Lord willing, too much to post here. Hopefully, get the body on the frame for the first time we have ever seen. Hopefully, hear the engine run for the first time. Hopefully, make all the interior fabric stuff. Hopefully, replace all the wood fragments with whole pieces.

Looking to clean up the undersides of my fender. Just wondering what would be a good product to use. I drive on a lot of dirt roads. I am also looking at replace the gas tank also, notice it is starting to weep.

I'm late for the party again...
But I wish everyone a Happy New Year !!

I plan to pull my steering column and try to tighten the rivets in the gear to tube and replace the bushing in the frame bracket.

Get ether the 1925 cut down T or 1920 Dodge touring ready in case we have tours this year!! The 1925 needs body wood(started cutting templates but band saw blade broke), engine overhaul, rear end checked out and upholstery. The Dodge needs upholstery, tires, 2 more disk wheels and hubs for rear, different rear end and general maintenance work. When it comes to upholstery, lets just say nether are getting original style installed at this point. I will be happy with springs and something covering same. :D Don't know how far I will get, but may end up having to barrow a T if we have any tours. :(
