Where did Dodge brothers make parts for the Model T

I was looking at Detroit and the Dodge factory. That factory was made for them to make Dodges from what I could tell. If the Dodge Brothers were making parts for Henry to build the Model A, Model B, etc., were they building them in numerous small buildings all over town?

They were a very successful operation at the time.

Wish I could find the picture, but I'd swear that is the SAME building that shows Henry's wife and some other person driving maybe an "N" in front of the building, but it sure didn't say Dodge Bros. on the front. Maybe it's just a similar looking building?

The Ford Piquette Plant is a very similar building, and I believe is the building in the photo of Mrs. Ford on the test drive.
The Piquette Plant's front door is centered on the front side of the building. This Dodge plant has the front door offset. Otherwise very similar buildings.

a correction to the article
and the other building photo you may be thinking about.

This is a photo of the Dodge plant taken sometime in late 1906 or after (1907 or later Model K parked in front. On the right a K roadster or S roadster left rear fender can be seen. If so, that dates the photo after March 1907 (K Road) or spring 1908 (if S Roadster).
I recall Ford directors minutes mentioning FMC approved paying rent or interest on another location Dodge was building. My uneducated guess is this may have been a storage site for parts as Dodge and Ford were ramping up production. I’ll try to find it.
Also, the links below include a few Dodge “bad boys” clips and articles:”

Found it. January 9th, 1906:
The FMC BOD approved renting space from Dodge Bros. at “recently acquired by them at Brush st and Jefferson:”
Maybe someone with knowledge of Detroit knows if this location may have been close to Ford Manufacturing, or Piquette, or Dodge Bros.? My guess has been that the site may have been used as storage for competed Dodge components made for FMC, but that’s just speculation. If so, maybe a site where Model T components were eventually housed too?

Thank you Rob for some of the rest of the story! At the Gilmore Red Barns there is a placard saying the Dodge Brothers took a mans crutches from him and beat him with his crutches!!!

Not people to piss with!!! Bud.

Bud, my pleasure. The Dodge’s seem like hard working, hard playing brothers and Detroit appeared to be the wild west of auto making in the early part of the twentieth century.

Gentlemen:
the Dodge Brothers were always known for their hard work and honest ethic ... i have never read where they never had a body guard as did Henry ... if they encountered a conflict they would handle it on their own ... i have also read where there was much more to the "crutch" story than is stated in the brief mention at the Gilmore site ... and John Dodge owned a model K ... always an optimist Gene French
