Sure Larry did. I have 2 sets from them. Work perfectly. Super Mario Bross and Chuck Norris approve! :lol:

Thank you, i don’t like the rockys that Snyder’s have since they don’t work in reverse and disc kits don’t look well on a 100 year old car. I hear these work well . Anyone still making the linkage set up ?

Unfortunately Richard is not making linkage kits at this time. He says hopefully in the near future he will be able to start up again. Is there anyone else making linkage?

If you are handy and inventive, you can make your own cable setup like the originals.

John @ Model T Ranch makes a equalizer very simular to the rocky mountain one. I made my own equalize for the A-Cs on my speedster ( pull type instead of push) and used chebby E-brake cables so I had an adjustment for cable length. I took them off & made rods for them the only differance I found was the rods rattle and the cables didnt. Unfortuneatly I gave the cables away.

Does anyone have a picture of Richard’s linkage bolted to a frame? I like the looks of his crossbar but hard to picture where it would bolt to the frame.
Thanks

some great previous posts on Ac brakes, and also fantastic original Ac brochure images on Google.
I think the original cable operation set up should serve you well.

I like Richards setup and may try to recreate it. I have a ton of stuff in the way and if I can get those control rods outboard of the frame it would work out for me.

Or just keep it simple and use cables like the ends of the levers on the brakes would be setup for. Look at Sunday swap meet on the classifieds page. The top item shown is the link between the cable pulley and transmission pedal.

I have a aux transmission in the way of bolting that to the drive shaft

I made something like this for my rocky Mtn but with a few changes could work. Instead of the 26/27 brake arms I just used flat plate for the cross bar;

You could mount pulleys with a cover over them so the cable would stay in place on each end of the cross bar and would go around the transmission. If you have the newer style replacement AC's that use rods and clevices then just use them.

The best way is to do the job the way AC did it, not the way it's currently done with rods.

You cannot use the stock ac setup with a aux tranny as the tranny is in the way of the cables can you? I haven’t dug into mine yet to mock-up but only looked at you all’s pictures.
