Clarence has been in the same family since
being bought new back in 1913 in New York State.
Passed down to family members - Clarence
traveled to Arizona - then Oregon.
He was purchased in 2008 by a couple living
in the San Francisco area.
The husband was inspired to purchase Clarence
when he saw a badly restored 1913 Model T Runabout
at the Ford Centennial Celebration in Richmond, IN.
When he took possession - Clarence had the original
horsehair upholstery
I will be slowly be making my way to Richmond, IN
from California starting later today - I am taking
I -40 east to Oklahoma City & then I-44 up through
Tulsa into Joplin.
I plan on stopping in Albuquerque & St. Louis
like I did last year with Alexander
The 1904 Ford Model B
Call me if you have a group that wants to
see Clarence as we make our way to
The MTFCA Museum

I can understand the need for dual horns. My wife definitely needs her own horn on her side!

If I could pick & choose my hauls ....
This would be my choice - a Brass Era Grand Car
and a Model T ....
Sharing the trailer with Clarence - this beautiful
1910 Chalmers Detroit 30 Model K that is
headed to The Gilmore after I drop off Clarence
at The MTFCA Museum in Richmond, Indiana
Chalmers has an interesting history:
The Chalmers Award was established in 1910
with this model:

What a great morning
The last time I stopped in Albuquerque
was to show Alexander ( the 1904 Ford
Model B ) last summer.
Larry got some folks together to meet
at 10 a.m. - I arrived at 8 a.m. to get
both cars out.
Good turnout - thanks Larry
Special Thank You To Susan & Mark Wing
They have graciously hosted the local
Albuquerque Model T Club at their home
and fed us all very well during past visits
I am taking a break from loading the cars
back up - eating a roast beef panini that
Mark got me from the grocery store

Hi Kirk
Sorry you couldnβt make it down.
Maybe next time.
The 1910 Chalmers Detroit 30 Model K
was an interesting contrast to the
1913 Ford Model T.
Built in Detroit - it sold for $1500.
