Re: Fitting for today
Thanks Tom! You're right, very fitting for today! Like me, I'm sure you're below zero...well, we were til the sun came up. Started out at -1, now it is a balmy +1!!
Those sure were some hearty people back then. That, or they just plain had no other choice!!
Thanks for all these cool pics, Lord knows where you get em all, but keep em coming. So cool.

And Tim did you notice the open cars were all topless, very hardy folks indeed. Jim

Re: Fitting for today
Open cars in the Winter make perfect sense. No need to scrape or defog extra windows and perfect vision with no blind spots. A good hat will reduce that ice cream freeze between your eyes.
Rich
PS, great photos.

I feel your pain Tim! -2 @ 6am according to the New London reporting station. After 4 straight hours of using my "big brute" Ariens snow blower on Tuesday to do mine & my parents driveways, seeing that -2 Wed morning was enough to convince me to stay in the house with a fire going & the cat on my lap! Blessed to be home this week & not out on the road fighting it!
God Bless
Bill
