This is being advertised as a Model T express bed. Can anyone confirm that is what it really is? If so, was it used on a regular Model T or a TT?

Thanks

It sure looks like one to me. It's a TT only. The person to contact who has one is Dan Killecut in New York.

Appears to be a TT Express - I also have one on my Gramps' C-Cab that he purchased new in Seattle.

TT not AA, very good workable condition. You can find more information on the National AA site showing the differences between the two beds.

I know that very similar steel boxes were offered by several other automobile manufacturers, with considerable variation in lengths. I know Dodge Brothers used very similar boxes on both screen-side and open pickups on their car chassis, and the Graham brothers used longer boxes on some of the trucks they built using Dodge parts and sold through Dodge Brothers dealers. Chevrolet also offered a very similar express box on their one-ton models in the late '20s. I have seen advertisements showing such boxes on several other all truck companies (including if I recall correctly a Fageol?).
However, I wouldn't know a TT express box from any of the others myself short of direct comparison or fitting to chassis.

Thanks for the information everyone. I was just searching for stuff to buy on the way to Chickasha and found it on the Wichita Craigslist listings. They are asking $750 if anyone has an interest. I don't have a TT so nothing I have a need for at the moment...
