23 T Handbrake

23 T Roadster..I was outside the car experimenting with the handbrake for adjustment. I moved it back for the brakes, I moved it forward for neutral, and then I moved it a little bit too far forward, and the transmission disengaged from the parking brake arm. There was a loud slam, I assume that is the clutch spring doing its job, but it couldn't be good for anything. Are there any notes, cautions, warnings about moving, or not moving the lever as I did without holding the clutch pedal? Thanks....Tommy

Without the engine running, no real harm.

With the engine running at a good idle, only harm is what will occur to anything in front of the Ford. :)
