Re: Picture party
Does anyone have a clue what the thing is that looks like a cone?
My guess is the Wicked Witch of the East's foot, that stuck out from Dorothy's house in Wizard of Oz
That thing is marked as "the cause" of this runabout turning turtle in photo #14?

Re: Picture party
Just guessing looks like it is attached to a railroad signal. Being a Coal & Dock Company it would be near a train track. Maybe transporting a railroad signal from one station to another and it fell through floor boards.
What an imagination!!!

Re: Picture party
Tom, Every time you make an era dump like this I lose an hour and run down my cell phone batteries. I particularly liked the ‘13 and ‘14 Ts in this thread . Many thanks !!
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people

Re: Picture party
4th picture above, 1913 runabout with license number 4580 is the same car that two images were shown on a previous thread (I think about two weeks ago?). Interesting that it should show up separately?

Re: Picture party
I agree with George, every time you do a photo "dump" I spend (literally) hours poring through your photos, everything from TT cab bodies to historic photos of how life was when our cars were new... I'd lodge a complaint, but like a good addict, all I can say is "More, more, more"! --lol--
THANK YOU for doing this... it is a resource and gold mine the likes of which I dreamed of as a kid, and makes me think whichever way I go I can't be far from someone who had this same knowledge last century... and here it is, carrying on into the next!
People talk of keeping the hobby alive, and you, sir, are doing that in a way we only dream of doing!

Re: Picture party
The other thread was 'More Pics', actually just under two weeks ago.

But let us see if we can get these photos closer together.
Note the as-yet unidentified logo on the radiator, the electrified headlamps visible in all three pictures, the license plate visible in all three pictures, and the accessory horn visible in two of the photos.
