Van going Houston to Chicksha empty, can take stuff.

Post by ivaldes1 » Fri Mar 08, 2019 11:28 pm

Hi, Next Thursday I will be going Houston to Chicksha through Dallas in a Toyota Sienna mini-van mostly empty. If you want me to take stuff to Chicksha let me know soon. I have no idea what I am going to bring back. :D -- IV

This is a bit of adrift, but how did your galvanizing project work out? How many did you do, and how did the cost per rim end up?
The inevitable often happens.

Hi Steve, We ended up doing about 26 rims. I forgot to go back and pick up 4 rims I had paid for at Chicksha last year, waa, waa, waah. So $300 + $75 for sandblasting, it ended up being about $15 each. Had capacity for about 60 which would theoretically be $6.25 each. Hope to see you at Chicksha friend. -- IV

Careful Ignacio...Model T parts tend to spontaneously leap into empty vans at Chickasha. ;)
