Some more Chickasha photos.

Here are some of the photos I took during Chickasha. There will be some duplicates to Steve's photos, but I will have some different ones. They will be in approximate order from morning parking lot, to line up, then set up, Friday swap day, and finally Saturday wrap up. The pictures after the clown car were taken Saturday during final wrap up and loading, so things are looking pretty thin by then. But I still sold about 400.00 on Saturday during wrap up/loading time. I also sell a large amount of my sales after 5:30 in the evening after most folks have covered up and went to eat and their motel. That is one of the perks of camping on our spots . I have made sales as late as 10:00 pm to vendors who had no chance during the day because they could not take time to leave their spaces and go shopping.

The next three photos are of our spaces and my speedster on Saturday afternoon when loading. We usually are one of the last ones to leave the South building.

Here are the treasures I found at Chickasha. I did not buy much this year ... The sun visor has green glass (one missing) and fits to the windshield stanchions of a 23-25 one man top on touring or roadster. I have not tried it on a set of two man top stanchions yet. But it appears that it will also work on them. The two parts catalogs ar original, not reprints. The spark plug in the last photo just looked so sad in the condition it is in I just had to bring it home with me. It will be "put out to pasture" and join its other cousins in my collection. But I am going to try it out and see if it still works. " I bet it will still work".

Ok, That's all I have. I was so busy with showing the speedster, I had little time for running around and taking pictures

. I enjoyed talking to everyone. Way too many names to mention. But I really appreciated all the comments about the speedster. I think this year was a good year in spite of the covid and weather causing some folks not to come. I sold a ton of stuff. and most of all just had a good time.

Thank you very much for posting the pics. I did not go because I did not get vaccinated in time. But 2 friends of mine DID go, and I am waiting for a report when they get home.
I will be there next year for sure!
It was really nice seeing what went on and what was for sale!
Thanks again!

What was the year and price of the unrestored runabout or roadster on the flatbed trailer? Art

Art, The two cars shown on the flatbed and the parts and bodies shown in the next 3 photos are cars and parts Mark Frymiller of Model T Haven bought at the swap meet. They will be for sale at Model T Haven when he gets them home. He buys lots of things as soon as they arrive at the meet, before they get marked with the price. At a swap meet like this you have to get there early and move fast .......

Does anyone know who had the 28 AA chassis on a trailer for sale?

Donnie, Can you put me in touch with whoever has all the brass headlamps? It looks like he could fill in a few gaps for me.

John, I do not know who had the lights. I just took random photos of things I saw. If a car or something was priced and had a contact number I tried to get a photo of the contact info, but there usually was no contact info on tables of parts.

For me, Chickasha was a let down. I flew there from California, and bought nothing! However, I had a good time, and saw many old friends. The meet is less than half the size it used to be.

I really hope Chickasha will grow back to what it was years ago. We as an old car community need swap meets, I’ve always done well there finding good items there. I’ve had to miss the last 3 years. I really miss my old friends I usually see there. Looking forward to next year! Thanks Mike and Susie for continuing to make it happen.

Great pictures, I made lots of killer buys for Hay Wagon to Speedster Project and had a great time seeing everyone.
