What are you trying to do to me?
If my Amish friends see that I will never find any T parts again. Not to mension the racing rule implications. The ABRA just got started on rules and quallifications.

At first I thought Dallas had rear ended his Amish neighbor and that’s what was left.

The problem is that people who live in the large destiny populated cities have no need for cars an rely on public transportation (trains, buses, cabs, Uber, Lyft etc). Even people living in the suburbs surrounding these cities have the option to use public transportation to get to work.

For the five boroughs and three counties in the New York portion of the metropolitan area, the Department of Transportation estimates that the average resident travels about 13.9 miles per day. The average number of miles driven by a taxi driver in New York City in a 12-hour shift is 180, most of these are just cruising around looking for fares. Their future?

I guess this is a bit of drift, but I think it's funny that crossing into NYC costs you a hefty fee but leaving is free. :)

As for ABRA, when growing up in N E Ohio the Amish young men had buggy drag races every Sunday afternoon. They had also put auto push buttons, then fashionable on many makes, on their dashboards. Alas, I have no idea if there were published rules for the drag races.

Steve, that surprises me too. Given the flood of people anticipating leaving for more tax-friendly states, that may change as well.

Bud, the buggies aroung us are getting deluxe. Full fenders, LED lighting, turn signals, heaters, solar panels, roll up doors and juice brakes. They cost 4 to 8 thousand. Add 1 to 3 thousand for the power plant and harness cost and you have the price of a nice T.

Its because they realize that once you have been there for a visit you have no money left and they don't want the burden of providing for another homeless person.

Crossing the bridge onto an island in Canada for the MTFCI Tour last year, was free, but it cot $67.00 to get back across the bridge to the Mainland.
