Oh, whew !! Thanks Jeff. Couldn’t log on to the Forum this morning so I drove myself to the E.R. waiting on a neurologist. I can go home now.

How quick we forget the work that goes on behind the scenes. Thanks for keeping us going.

When did I do that?

I must say that all has been working well while Chris and I were on vacation for the past few weeks. We’re both back so you guys can now break things at will.

I even put almost 1000 miles on the T with very few mechanical incidents... mostly due to the 7P principle.

Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. I didn’t forget much except to check the date on my “new” trailer’s tires. 2002 wasn’t a great year. They looked great. But rubber certainly does have a expiration date. Two blowouts proved that. And buying that extra last minute spare paid off

Yeah, many thanks Jeff and Chris. You guys provide better entertainment to me than satellite TV !!
And I’m still driving on ORIGINAL Sears Allstate bias ply wide whites on my ‘50 Ford. But, don’t worry, I’ll pick up 5 new wide whites from Coker at Chickasha....

George House - In regard to your comment about your original Sears Allstate tires,.....

I just bought a full set of original Sears Allstate 4.50 x 21's for my '29 Model A Briggs Town Sedan. Paid a lotta' $$$ for them, but they are brand new tires that have allegedly been stored in the dark and are still wrapped in original wrapping, and to me, a huge advantage is that they are NYLON tires, which I believe to be much stronger and longer lasting that conventional casing bias ply tires! (Yeah, they do "thump" a little for the first minute or two of driving, but they round-out pretty quick!) I still have the INSA brand NYLON 4.50 x 21's on my '27 depot hack since I bought the car years ago from the late Pete Cosner's family, and those tires look so bad with cracked side walls and all that it's embarrassing, but to this day, and many miles, I have never had a bit of tire trouble with those NYLON Insa tires! With several old Fords that have 4.50 x 21's, I even buy "USED" NYLON 4.50 x 21's when I can find them,.....FWIW,.....harold

I was just thinking that! I think I’ll ask for a raise. I was thinking 10x what I get now. 10x0 is still =0

I actually enjoy the heck out of it. My CTO won’t let me work on my company systems anymore (heck, even though I built them) so this keeps me sharp! There’s always something new to figure out.
