These two items came with an assortment of model T parts I purchased from an estate. I don’t recognize them as model T (or automotive), but thought I would ask before they go to scrap. Thanks

Mike,

Sorry, I do not recognize what they are. But they look like they were factory made for something and not just homemade.

I would suggest you include a yard stick or tape rule etc. in the photos so folks have an idea of how long they are. Or tell folks the approximate size. That might help someone recognize what they fit.

Respectfully submitted,

That’s the parts that a guy would need if he really needed them for restoration and would pay good money for them. I’m thinking they are some sort of window hardware for a closed car. Maybe?
Take them to the next swap meet you go to and see what happens when you put them on your parts table.

Agree with Hap about a tape or some kind of scale. How far is it between the square carriage bolt holes? Any chance it's the same spacing as T running board bolts? If the size is right, maybe it's a rail to keep luggage off the splash apron and give some cleats to tie a rope to.

Like my Dad used to say: "I don't know what it is, but it sure looks like a good one!" :D

I agree with adding a tape measure to show size. Also turn one of them over to show both sides. Try shooting them on a dark background to make the details show up better. Also post the inquiry on the AACA forum where people familiar with other makes may see it.

Looks like 45 inches long. About inch square. I attached a couple more photos. There is an “arrow”. I’ll happily give them to anyone. Whatever they are. Thanks
