I've had this photo for years. I believe it to be a prototype photo. I've asked several people familiar with the Detroit area, and it is believed the photo was not taken there. Any ideas?

Could that brick wall be around the Fairlane Home of the Fords?

These are out of the Bible. Not very good photos.

I supplied all the photos to Bruce McCalley for the Bible, and still have them. They are nice and clear. I would still like to know where the photo I posted was taken!

Do not know where pictures were taken, but that is a non script tailgate like my 25 pickup. Has to be early. Not many of us around. Dan

The satellite view and street view don't show any wall at Fairlane. My first thought when seeing it was cemetery. But if that's what it is, it's not any of the ones around Dearborn.

Steve,
I wouldn't think Dearborn so much as Highland Park, near the Highland Park Plant, on Woodward Avenue. Going north on Woodward, there's Evergreen & Woodlawn Cemeteries. Where many auto barons are interred. (And Dutch Girl Donuts, but that's another story!)

Apparently Evergreen Cemeteries are a chain of several, Woodlawn being one of them. It has no such wall.

Well no. Not today anyway. Still, I would consider a search near the H.P. Plant.

There's no guarantee that a wall present in 1925 is still there, and cemetery is just a guess, but if somebody wants to look up the street views for cemeteries around Highland Park, go for it. I have other things to do.
