Painting wheels - type of paint used?

I just bought a nice 1914 touring car and putting on some nice Firestone tires and adding Rocky Mountain brakes. First of all it is not any fun prying clincher tires on and off of the wheels and I have chipped the edges a little. Second, when I add the Rocky Mountain brakes I have to replace the bolts in the wheels with longer bolts to hold the new drum. When I am done I will need to repaint around the center hub and touch up a few spots around the rim. Does anyone know what kind of paint is most often used on wheels? It seems to be a pretty thick coat over a white filler.

Well, you'll get a dozen answers, all of 'em noteworthy. For me, I use the same as on fenders...gloss black Concept. Very durable, nice finish. Some people prefer a more satiny look, I like to start out pretty glossy, 'cause the weather and road grit and grime make 'em less shiny over time anyway.

Tim is correct. This question can get as many answers as "What kind of oil?" For wheels I use gloss black Rustoleun. It's inexpensive, needs no primer, and is very durable. I think it looks OK too.
