For Those Who Had Experience With U&J Carburetors

I know U&J carbs are famous for performance, but how would they rate, if compared to a Zenith Model B carburetor. U&J's aren't cheap to buy and aren't plentiful. Model B Zeniths grow on trees and are comparably cheap; plus I already have a Model B Zenith and Manifold (and Model A exhaust manifold. Also, I just want good 'street' performance. I'm not planning any trips to the Bonneville Salt Flats. What are your opinions?

I’ve replaced an ordinary NH with a U&J and have great satisfaction with low end and high end performance. So much so that I’m scared to move the gas lever down more than 2”. But it had an original cork float. So I sent it and another to a carb rebuilder somewhere up by the Canadian border nearly a year ago 😞
...but I don’t regret it... hope to get metal floats
