Model Ts in Helsinki

Post by John E. Guitar » Fri Apr 30, 2021 6:36 pm

I’m not sure about the first one.

These are from the following photo archive:

First and last photo look to be the same model. Maybe even the same car, compare the dents in the radiator.

Wayne J,
They photo's may be of the same car but I don't think it is a Model T Ford.
The radiator is wrong,
The front springs are wrong,
The front axle is wrong and the front guards look strange...n.

The first and last photos might be of an earlier Ford. Those photos show what looks like a rear entrance car body.
I think it is most likely a hodge-podge of what they could find, maybe back in the fifties.
I will put a link to this on the Early Ford Registry forum.

The first and last photos are not a T. dding to Neil's list, the wheels hubs are wrong, the steering wheel is wrong, the head lights are wrong and the steering column is wrong. Whatever it is, it looks like a modified brass T radiator has been fitted to keep it running.

The car in the 1st picture has full elliptic springs. The frame is way too wide to be a T. (And what in hell was Kruschev doing in Finland?)
