My computer says the file size of this photo is 1.1 Meg, just testing to see if it would post, also testing the "drag & drop" feature. :)

Mark,
Does the drag and drop feature work with a tablet or smart phone, or is it a computer/mouse feature?
Thanks

Let's see if it works, I just drug and dropped this photo using my Windows 10 tablet.

I don't have a smart phone, just a cheap Tracfone. :(

Testing. That is a 1906 Whizzix. One of the very first antique autos that shaped my infatuation with brass era cars.

ImageSomeday my car will look like Dan’s. The engine now runs but I don’t have a recent photo of it yet.

Why is my photo rotated? It wasn’t rotated in my photo library on my IPhone

Thomas, when I click on your photo for enlargement, it rotates right side up. I’ve noticed the same behavior with other sideways photos posted so far.

Test of attached file.
Hmmm, will it display as a photo or will it only show an icon?

I notice on my post and other people's posts, all photos end up being the same smaller size than on the old forum. Does this mean the end of the BIG photos we used to display?

Roger, when you click on the photos, they will enlarge to their original size. All of your attached photos enlarged when I clicked on them.

I believe sideways photos are the result of using a "mobile device". So far all my pictures from a real camera show up correctly.

It appears that the forum software resizes the photos in the neighborhood of a maximum 1100 X 800 pixels judging from the info at the top of the enlarged photos. To my eyes, they don’t seem quite as sharp as the photos posted on the old forum.

Thanks Mark! Yeh, I agree. Geez...lots to learn here. I don't "have time" to
ingest all this. Well, maybe it's also due to my short attention span?? LOL

Twrenn,
Your “drag and drop” worked. Enlarges when “clicked on”. I notice you have what I believe is a Buckeye bumper on the front. I had one on my ’26 Buick.

Is there a limit on size? I have had a few photos from my full frame digital camera just show up black. When I changed the size they posted.

Matt, this was 2 MB, 3222 x 2647 pixels, and posted with no problem. Your black picture must be caused by something other than size.

This is the photo that I was having trouble with. Original is 5.7mb. Shrank down to 2mb works.

Matt, the photo I posted here “Old Fords” was originally 9MB. The forum software automatically resized it to 397KB. (1077 X 800 pixels)
