Wooden Steering Wheel

Post by ModelTED » Sun May 16, 2021 9:19 pm

I am always looking for parts. Came across this on CL today and picked it up since I would like to have the smaller wooden steering wheel. Based on data from the the encyclopedia, I am guessing it is between 1912-1920. It is iron spider and wood wheel. It has T902B stamped part number. It also has what looks like trade mark - W ? It measures 15 OD - 12 3/8 ID and 1 3/8 thick.

Can anyone date this to the year? What company is "W"?

Just looking for what the mark "W" stands for? Assuming it is a company trademark, like on other supplier provided parts to Ford. Any info would be appreciated.

I would think the W trademark stands for Williams, that was later changed to Transue Williams.
