Speedometer drive ID

Hi,

Looking to ID these speedometer drive parts but first a little background. These were attached to a very original wheel and spindle found by my father at the town dump in the 60's. The wood felloe wheel is in great condition complete with the metal stem and dust cover. The 30x3 tire however is hard as a rock!

The items below were removed along with the original spindle. I spent some time cleaning off years of hardened grease and dirt today revealing parts in good condition. Wondering the year and what the matching speedometer would be. Thanks!

That's a "Ford Special" drive & road gear - nice score ! That would be in the 1913 - 1915 neighborhood (without looking it up) in Russ' speedo book !

It is a Ford Special drive, pinion gear and road gear. These parts were introduced for the 1915 model year ONLY. I hope this helps. Russ Furstnow

Thanks for the information! Would this be period correct on a late September 1914 Runabout with the flat wood firewall? I'm contemplating gathering a speedometer head and cable but would like it to be correct. The other problem I face is the lack of the flange on my current wheel.
