one thing leads to another, in a good way

So pulling the rear wheels and re-examining the drums/brake linings I could smell gas. Noted the sediment bowl petcock had a small drip and I usually flush this monthly and did not get much out of it when I tried.

I had a replacement petcock and will get that in as the other one was plugged up. Yes when I cleaned out the tank I removed the worn out bowl screen and will install the internal filter 2903BSC offered by Langs as well.

Flushed and checked my NH bowl that was nice and clean.

FYI - white Teflon tape is not compatible with gasoline - some will state that yellow tape is for gas which is true BUT for natural gas or propane - do yourself a favor & get some reputable fuel sealer.

Thanks Steve, that's just one wrap around those threads for any variation between the male petcock/female sediment bowl threads.

I have been using Gasoila for many years, enjoy your summer.
