Hi, I made a mistake I broke my new ADJUSTABLE Modern Drive Shaft Pinion Bearing... when I tried to installed it. Do I need to buy another one Or I could keep it as is and using more sealant with the boken piece. The good news the failure do not affect the hole were the bolts are. Any thoughts ? Thank you.

The face of that spool & the axle housings flat must BUTT together. As long as they mate tightly, without a possible leak, no problem. (A chipped edge wont hurt the function.) In your pix they do not mate. that would be a problem.

The step in the spool needs to sit neatly over the machined face on the two diff housing halves. It does not appear to do so. Perhaps you should remove the spool from the driveshaft assembly, and check its fit on the axle housings first. The face inside the step on the spool mates flat on the front surface of the axle housings, the flange on the spool fitting over the step in the front of the axle housings, but not engaging on the housings. If it fits then, it should be OK when assembled.
Hope this helps.

Thank you all for reply and advices, really appreciated. I ordered a new one to replace this broken unit. I would prefer playing safe here. Learning sometimes cost $$$.
