My father has a very original 1915 wheel with spindle and speedometer drive attached that he picked from the local town dump in the 60's. The assembly is in great shape including the valve stem dust cover that can be removed by hand like it was installed yesterday.
He graciously offered me the spindle to replace the badly worn one on my 14. In removing the lightly worn spindle bushings I noticed the thrust surface was much smaller than the reproduction part available today. I have included pictures of each below. Wondering if this is an original or a replacement part available years ago. Anyone have original Ford specs?
