Been doing this for some time of various set backs and outside relocation. By making the bell crank and removing the handle/ratchet at the original location anything is possible from there. Look for yourself.

Just use old parts as seen. Great for Speedsters or cars you are just not comfortable in. The set back and side distance are all to the operator's liking but really gives you the room needed.

I left the quadrant and ratchet in it's factory installed location but took the "rosebud" to it and placed 2 45° bends (out and back up) in it. This moved it outboard and gave me leg room while also effectively shortening the handle length on my 27 Speedster. This made the handle look more in proportion with the lowering of the seats and steering column.

It also makes mounting the drivers position a lot easier due to me being vertically challenged. HA!

Henry, I'm a bit confused........it looks like the original brake handle is still mounted/operational. Did you take the pictures before removing it? In any case, I like the conversion. Clean and neat.

Yes George you are correct, I should have clarified. This is being done on my mock up chassis.
