Longtime T owner

This is a local T owner and enthusiast, Tim Simonson. Tim has been self employed as an antique clock repairman and restorer for his whole working life. He and his wife Leslie live in a beautifully restored Victorian home, and his clock repair shop is in the carriage house out back. Also in the carriage house is stored his dear models T’s , the first one assembled with the help of his father George nearly 60 years ago. He drove that one half way across the country upon graduation from high school, and she still runs wonderfully well, never being back apart. For years he drove a model A Ford for clock repair business, and his “clock calls”..... house calls for clocks too big to easily move. There are a lot of those around these parts, and he has serviced thousands over the years. He thinks nothing at all of getting in his T and driving just about anywhere. We’ve followed him several times to Dearborn and Richmond, Indiana, as we think he has a hidden cruise control on his 1915 runabout. He runs 35mph all day long.
The Simonson’s are some of our best local treasure!
