1926-27 T Coupe Glass

Post by daveclause » Wed Jul 07, 2021 2:40 am

What is a good source for glass for the 26-27 Model T Coupe?
I checked on Macs and Vintage Glass but am wondering if anything else is out there.

My 24 coupe, I use my local glass shop, I took my plate glass window to them and they copied it. On the side window they installed the lower frame piece to the new safety glass. The windshield they supplied the rubber. They told me to insert the rubber into the window frame. I fit it using a paint stick. Lightly "painted" inside channel where window slid in agaist the rubber using WD40, window slid in nice. When dried stuck good, trimmed off excess rubber.
Brian.
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full, miss the point. The glass is refillable.

I have no glass at all but am getting closer to the time.
What I will do is make cardboard templates and record measurements, taking them to a place locally.

Glass is still legal in Cali?
