Where, when and who have you tried to order from? Langs, Snyders or Chaffins? I thought some of the dealers had at least some back in stock?

The copper ones were out of stock for a good while. I snagged 3 when they came back, but all had problems with the crimping around the two large orifices at the ends. Perhaps they are scarce again while that problem is addressed.

Chaffins still had some as of a week ago. Don't know about now of course. Call em!

On Monday. 26 July I called Snyders, Lang’s and Chaffins for a head gasket. All were out of stock. I call Olson who told me they were no longer stocking T gaskets as they could not make a profit on them compared to the price charged by other vendors. I believed I got the last one from Olson. Dave at Chaffins tells me the tooling is being revised to improve the appearance. Who knows when new stock will be available.

Is ultra black not strong enough? Sorry, I haven't replaced a head gasket.

Ultra black is not used on head gaskets. Copper coat on some though.

Welcome back to the future.
This is like the good old days when the only parts we had were used ones.
“Spray that old gasket with copper coat and use it one more time” was what we were told when I started in this “hobby” years ago.
The only stuff we had was JC Whitney and go to Hershey once a year. Them was the days!!!! Dan
