Afternoon everyone,

Are there any 1:1 timber plans for a 1926 T coupe that can be purchased?

Thanks in advance,

Not aware of any. I went to the Benson Ford Research Center in Dearborn Michigan and copied the factory drawings. Most of them were not 1:1, and some were very poor blueprints that didnt copy well. The research center has a printing service but they will be reduced in size and a bit pricy considering there are about 8 or 10 drawings of the individual parts and a drawing of the assembly.

Shawn, is your T a USA import? as far as I know they are mostly steel, wood frame seat and a wood frame on the top. The top measurements for the top frame can be found with a google search of the MTFCA.

Shawn, an Australian built 26-7 coupe may be vastly different in construction to a US built car. Frank indicated that US cars have way more steel in their construction, compared with Australian built cars which still have a full timber base. If yours is a RHD Australian built car it would be advisable to find someone with a similar car and go from there.

Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone,

This was an imported US car. I'll see if I can find the dimension in the search.

Thanks again,

Is this the link? Will this be the same as the 1926 Coupe soft top?
